Tom completed a Bachelor and Masters degree in Environmental Science at the University of Western Australia. During his masters he completed a thesis project at the UWA farm in Pingelly. His thesis paper looked into the natural resource management benefits derived from integrating native perennial shrub grazing systems into traditional agricultural systems.
During his time at UWA Tom also became actively involved with further research occurring across the UWA farm, making contributions as a research assistant, technician and as a part of research teams.
Prior to joining Select Carbon, Tom worked as an environmental consultant in Perth, contributing to the development and implementation of a wide range of projects across WA.
Tom is a member of the project management team and assists with carrying out Human Induced Regeneration projects. Through these projects Tom hopes to help landholders enhance their business while achieving positive long-term NRM outcomes.
