Australia, June 2023 - The Select Carbon team presented at the recent Soil Science Australia (SSA) conference in Darwin. Select Carbon's Dr Susan Orgill delivered closing keynote talk highlighting the high level of interest, excitement and emerging research on Soil Carbon.
Over the week Susan Orgill and Jessica Rigg delivered a total of 7 conference talks and alongside Tyson Wicks, 2 posters on Soil Science Research including work of Dr Belinda Hackney. In particular, they focused on the role of legumes for building soil carbon, the recipe for building soil carbon under perennial pasture, carbon in the rangelands and the history of conservation agriculture in NSW and how that has led to increases in soil carbon stocks.
