Alice brings more than 15 years of experience in advisory agronomy, research and extension in broadacre dryland cropping, irrigated cotton and pasture/fodder systems. Beginning her career in natural resource management after undertaking a Bachelor of Environmental Science at the University of New England NSW, she transitioned to agronomy and completed the Master of Science in Agriculture, majoring in cotton physiology. Alice’s passion and experience lie in working with farmers to determine their production, profitability and sustainability goals and guiding them on the journey to achieving these through informed and purposeful management decisions.
Alice and her husband operate a beef cattle business on their farm on the North-West Slopes of NSW. In 2025 Alice was awarded a Nuffield Scholarship to investigate the productivity of transitioning annual fodder crops to perennial pastures and how temperate pastures can be best managed in a transitional climatic zone.
Alice joins Select Carbon as Project Manager – Soil Carbon and Agronomy where she works with farmers and their advisors to plan, implement and monitor crop and pasture agronomy, as well as innovative grazing management techniques as part of their registered soil carbon projects. She also provides advice and guidance in the development and design of projects, to deliver an increase in soil carbon sequestration, whilst supporting farm productivity and profitability.
