Alice’s education is in environmental science and conservation, however, she dabbled with spatial analysis soon after graduating from University and is now part of Select Carbon’s spatial squad in Perth.
Alice graduated with a Masters in Conservation Biology from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Alice also holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Wildlife and Conservation Biology) from Deakin University in Melbourne.
Alice has been involved in the carbon sector since 2014, beginning with an internship with a carbon developer during her Master’s degree. Her interests in the industry grew from there.
Prior to joining Select Carbon, Alice worked on the development of a number of savanna burning projects in Cape York (QLD) & the NT and Human Induced Regeneration (HIR) projects in NSW & QLD. Since joining Select Carbon in 2017, Alice has primarily focussed on the spatial mapping needs of Select Carbon’s extensive Western Australian portfolio, and in developing customised apps that link on-ground activities to reporting and monitoring activities.
